I recently discovered Prezi and put together a little presentation about Chalk-A-Bration. It is very simple but was fun to put together. Click to view and see the Chalk-A-Bration videos from yesterday's celebration!
Welcome to a stream of ideas as I venture on a journey to develop young writers. This blog will be influenced by my current reading list, conferences, colleagues, your comments and of course the students I work with each day. The connection between all forms of early literacy will also frequent the blog and their importance in the writing process for young learners.

Chalk-A-Bration May 2014
HI Chalkers! Hope you are having a great end to your school year. I still have a couple weeks to go but we are still chalking and having a great time together.

Thanks for the little Prezi. I hope you will do a little post for DigiLit Sunday tomorrow. I'm not sure yet what I will write about but some bloggers nudged me to keep it up this summer. I am in with the last day of school Chalkabration Celebration. I may have to call all my students to have our Chalkabration in June. I miss them so much. http://reflectionsontheteche.wordpress.com/2014/05/31/chalkabration-celebration/
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have had time to chalk with students, Betsy, maybe next year? I have a little chalk poem among the other celebrations this week. I am trying, but can't get the Prezi to play. I use it, so don't understand why, but will work on it. Sorry! ReplyDeleteFinally got it, Betsy! Don't worry about it! It's great to see what you did, pictures & videos too!

ReplyDeleteHere is my link! I chalked with my kindergarten kiddos. We made lots of pictures with captions...but one child even wrote a poem! Happy Day!
