Chalk-A-Bration September 2014

It's been a fun few weeks in kindergarten! We have been chalking about the moon using a favorite poem from Amy Ludwig Vanderwater  at The Poem Farm as our inspiration!

Here is the poem we used from Amy:

And here we are chalking some stars to go with our moon and poem!
Here is our hallway display of the moon, stars and poem!

Join in the chalking fun here in the comments. Link your chalk and visit the other chalkers!

My poem was completely inspired by the work you've been doing in class! Thank you!

Your kids have been busy. Love the stars and moon, inspiration and poem. I forgot to link up this morning. We were inspired by you to use Emaze. I'm excited about their chalkboard background. I didn't have too many brilliant poems this time, but I was particularly proud of my own. I usually avoid rhyme. Thanks for the chalking fun! http://reflectionsontheteche.wordpress.com/2014/09/30/september-chalkabration/

Dear Ms. Hubbard and Students,

What beautiful starry moony art you all made! My poem and I are completely happy and honored. Seeing these pictures feels like a hug from far away.

Happy writing and drawing and chalking and playing reading and being great friends...

Your Friend,
Amy
