Welcome to a stream of ideas as I venture on a journey to develop young writers. This blog will be influenced by my current reading list, conferences, colleagues, your comments and of course the students I work with each day. The connection between all forms of early literacy will also frequent the blog and their importance in the writing process for young learners.
I love the trees dripping a storm of leaves - while we don't experience all four seasons here in Singapore - we do see a lot of trees dripping such a storm - all the time. :)
It's a different look from our own autumn, until the snow, with soggy leaves sticking to one another, darkened by the wet. I love too the 'remainders', what an image and thought, Betsy! Thank you.

Hi, Betsy!
I love the verb "double look" - and the "remainders." Wonderful images! Thanks for sharing.

We had those storms of leaves this week! The wind brought almost all the color down.
