Children Should Be...

Seen
Much can be learned when we look beyond the surface of a child and really see them.

Heard
Listening leads to discovering the best in children.

and Believed
What is real to a child is real enough for me.

Join in and slice today with Ruth and Stacey at Two Writing Teachers.

Amen, sister! At first I wondered how all that fit on a bumper sticker; then, I figured that you added your insight. Very powerful. I think you should make a poster of this, and put it on Pinterest. :-)

We all should be seen, heard, and believed. A good reminder.

Yes, Betsy!
Really listening is key-I am feeling badly that I don't listen well enough sometimes-I need to do better-thanks for this inspiration...
The message you're sending is very powerful-I like the poster idea!
