Welcome to a stream of ideas as I venture on a journey to develop young writers. This blog will be influenced by my current reading list, conferences, colleagues, your comments and of course the students I work with each day. The connection between all forms of early literacy will also frequent the blog and their importance in the writing process for young learners.

Wordless
So, I am just beginning to type. I have things in here, ideas, poems, stories, lists. It is endless. Like talking, I always have a conversation, I am never short on words. I have so many words, it can be frustrating at times. I don't stop, listen, take in other people's words, I miss out...words are my weakness as much as they are my strength.
This is where I go when I just begin to type...
reflect
revise
refine
refuse
revive
relive
This is what I think when I just begin to type...
Ideals
Ideas
Identify
Identity
This is what I wonder when I just begin to type...
Define
Design
Decide
Divine
Deny
This is what I hear when I just begin to type...
Ways
Delays
Okays
words are my nemesis...outright...they are my life...they are...me...defined...

Oooh...I like this very much! I was just talking to my class about alliteration in stories being powerful. I love the way this flows. Words are wonderful!
Very effective use of alliteration! Words, you've got 'em and you can use 'em in powerful ways. Love it!
I love alliteration! I certainly feel your pain. The thing about listening to others is familiar to me. I'm trying to get better at that. Thanks for sharing.
